city of craft anyone?

So about four years ago while I was studying Textile arts in North Vancouver under the fabulous Mary Lou Trinkwon and Ruth Schuing, I was Given a button by Mary Lou.
She and Ruth had Just come back from a Complex weavers conference in Toronto and had gone to several exhibitions and shows.  She told me to check it out, and I did, I have been following City of Craft ever since.
I am a visual artist and like many of my peers I tend to fall into general service work when I am not studying.  I manage to exhibit a few times a year but I have yet to achieve much.
Last summer I registered my first business, Stephanie Moyle, Village Weaver, I  was unemployed at the time and qualified for a small business grant locally through the Simcoe County YMCA.  I  was able to participate in several local craft markets both independently and with my weaving guild, the Huronia Handweavers. I sold almost all of my infinity scarves and was feeling good about my business prospect's, but in February I reluctantly
accept another service job...
I need to make the leap...
I want more than anything to be self employed and nothing in the world scares me more.
It's why I don't post.
It's why I always put off taking the photos until it's too late to apply.
I am terrified of failure and it is getting me nowhere.
I will not make excuses and I will never let myself take another service job again! I mean it!
